Many of you are probably familiar with this home found in the Pleasantview neighborhood. I've always liked it but never had a use for it until now. Welcome to the Pleasantview Old Age Home. We will start with a tour of the rooms and then an overview of the residents and their life here.
A back view of the house with its extensive grounds. The backyard is home to a lovely pond, the telescope, bubble blower, and hot tub.
A side view of the house which has a bowling lane and a porch with a bar and chess tables.
A cutaway view of the ground flour, which includes a bathroom and exercise room not shown in the closeups.
The foyer.
The formal living room.
A view of the kitchen and dining room.
An overview of the second floor which has another bathroom.
A side shot featuring the art room, which gets a lot of natural light.
Astrid and Hector's bedroom.
Nina Caliente's bedroom.
The second livingroom also known as the activity room.
Opposite end of the activity room, with computers for tracing the family tree, chatting online or just having fun.
An overview of the third floor, which contains two bathrooms. At this point I feel I should mention a few things I've learned since setting this house up. You can never have too many bathrooms in a home with seven elders and the occasional guest. And three floors with only one flight of stairs per floor makes for a lot of very whiny old sims.

Now let me introduce you to the residents of the Pleasantview Old Age Home.

Eating together is nice, although you never know what people will come down to dinner in.
Being part of a big group makes some secretive. Nina hiding her diary from her daughter in law.
Disagreements are inevitable when you become old and obstinate.
And they can lead to all out fights in the kitchen.
There always seem to be a way to unwind with all the tension that sometimes builds. The bubble blower is a favorite.
As are frequent pillow fights.
Life can sometimes feel a bit boring and staid when staring at the fish tank.
But then again, maybe not!
There's always a rousing game of Moshino to be played.
Weather to be discussed.
New skills to learn.
A rival to beat at pool.
Or someone to impress.
Musical entertainment to lighten the mood.
Milestones to celebrate.
But sometimes you just need to take a nap beside the soothing sounds of flowing water made by your new expensive fountain. I hope you enjoyed the tour!
